You can apply our heat transfers to most fabrics including cotton, polyester, treated leather, nylon, and even wood!
We don't recommend applying heat transfers to material that has large spaces between fabric weaves (ie. wool, mesh).
Here at Blue Drop, we exclusively use direct-to-film technology for our transfers. From our experience, and based on customer feedback, it offers the most well-rounded performance of all transfer methods, in addition to the following benefits:
Bright, vivid colours and gradients that can otherwise not be achieved using vinyl or screen printing methods.
Excellent washability and long-lasting.
Ability to adhere to numerous fabric types and other substrates including both light and dark materials.
No need for pretreatment.
More durable than direct-to-garment (DTG) and heat-transfer vinyl (HTV) technology.
Allows you to offer more to your customers and keep your inventory more versatile.
No weeding - Cricut/Silhouette users, we're looking at you!
A softer, more luxurious feel compared to HTV and screenprint
